FIR Registered Against TTP for Airport Attacks

The First Information Report of the attack on the Karachi airport has been filed against Tehreek E Taliban on Wednesday.

This FIR has been registered under the Anti-Terrorism Act. A strong leader of TTP, Shahidullah Shahid, has also been listed down in this report.

The attack took place on June 8^th 2014 as 10 terrorists entered Karachi airport and started open firing. The situation caused havoc amongst the people who were inside the building. The aeroplanes were all evacuated on a quick notice and all the people were asked to hide in the waiting room.

During the cross fire between the Pakistani Armed Forces and Tehreek E Taliban, at least 28 people lost their live These 28 included the 10 terrorists who entered the premises of the airport.

Right when everyone thought that the dust has been settled, another attack took place on the Airport Security Force camp on the next day. There were five militants who open fired in front of Camp number 2 but luckily not a single causality was recorded on that day.

Now a search operation is being carried out by the Police and Armed forces of Pakistan. They are trying to locate the people who were responsible for this terrorist attack.

The Lahore and Islamabad Airports are currently on “Red Alert” after the attack.
