Mushtaq Ahmed Criticizes Asian Batsmen

Despite the fact that the South Asian subcontinent is famous for creating phenomenal batsmen, the former Pakistani spinner, Mushtaq Ahmed, thinks otherwise. The current bowling coach stated that Asian batsmen need to up their game against spinners since they have not been very successful lately.

According to Mushtaq Ahmed, spin bowlers are currently making it difficult for all the batsmen around the world to play them. He claims that he has been teaching batsmen about how to play slower balls.

While talking about giving tips to different bowlers, Mushtaq Ahmed said, “I have been talking to batsmen and giving them tips on how to play slow bowlers who nowadays play an integral part not only in Tests but in one-day and T20 formats as well.”

“My main task is to help Pakistan develop some good mystery spinners but at the same time having spent so much time with the England team and working with some of their batsmen it is a natural urge in me to also give tips to our batsmen on how best to play spinners.”

He ended his conversation by stating, “Now, spinners are becoming vital cogs in all formats and for each format batsmen have to deal with spinners differently.”
