Rana Jamil Hassan Rescued from Kidnappers

Rana Jamil Hassan, PML-N member of the Punjab Assembly who was kidnapped on May 31, has been rescued by the security agencies from Mardan. His kidnappers had demanded ransom of Rs 50 million.
Brother of Rana Jamil Hassan told reporters that his brother was recovered from Mardan and have arrived at his Islamabad residence.
Hasan was abducted while he was traveling to Islamabad near Pindi Bhutian with his family.
According to media reports, the kidnappers blindfolded Rana Jamil Hasan and his wife and took them to an undisclosed location. The wife of Rana Jamil was, however, released by the kidnappers in Rawalpindi.
The kidnapper have threatened the family members with serious consequences if the ransom is not paid in two days time.
Parliamentarian Hasan was abducted on May 31, 2014 near Pindi Bhutian while he was traveling to Islamabad with his family.

Security forces recovered Jamil Hassan from Mardan after a successful operation. However, no information is made available about the kidnappers.
