Pakistan Court Allows Musharraf to Leave Country
Thursday, June 12th, 2014 10:31:53 by Ahmad MehdiIt was recently reported from Karachi that the former President of Pakistan, General (Retired) Pervez Musharraf has been allowed by the special court to leave the country in order to fully recover from his medical conditions.
This has been a problem for the Pakistani special court for quite some time now. General (Retired) Pervez Musharraf was being trialled for treason; since he imposed military coup against the government of PML-N, ones who are in power now.
However, while the court was trying to give a verdict against Musharraf, turns out they were unable to gather enough proof while Musharraf stayed in his bed due to the fact that he is currently suffering from a heart problem.
He asked the court that he will not be able to attend any of the sessions unless he is asked to leave the country in order to fully recover from his medical condition. He submitted several medical reports in order to prove his point.
Now, after almost 3 months, the court has finally understood his problem and has asked him to leave the country.
Musharraf, who is 70 years old, is expected to fly from Karachi and will depart for America where he is going to meet up with his personal doctor.
