Altaf Hussain Speaks Against Qadri’s Plane Diversion

The leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Altaf Hussain, came out in the open and stated that he is strictly against the plane diversion which took place in Islamabad.

The leader of Pakistan Awami League, Molana Tahir Ul Qadri, was flying from Canada to Pakistan in order to talk to the Pakistani nation after the massacre which took place in Model Town, Lahore. His plans stated that he is going to land in Islamabad and there he will further discuss his agenda. However, the Emirates flight which was to land in Islamabad was not allowed to do so and it had to travel all the way to Lahore, where it was finally allowed to land.

Now Tahir Ul Qadri is currently sitting in the plane, while the management of Emirates has sent down a written application where they have requested the Pakistani government to return their plane.

However, Molana Qadri is still sitting inside the plane and trying to negotiate his terms with the Pakistani government.

Altaf Hussain has spoken against this incident. He stated that it is the democratic right of the people to hold rallies against the current government and a party leader should be welcomed in the country once he is landing.

He further stated that the government is trying to crush the opposition at a time when the Pakistani army is at war against the terrorists and the whole country needs to be united.
