Hafiz Gul Bahadar group not to resist military operation in NW

Taliban leader Hafiz Gul Bahadar has decided not resist the military operation in North Waziristan after a peace talks with a a local peace jirga. The group has decided to offer no resistance till 1oth of Shawal.
Nek Mohammad Fida, spokesman for the peace jirga told Express News that Hafiz Gul Bahadur group members negotiated with jirga regarding the military operation in North Waziristan. In bid to minimize the losses of civilians during the operation, Hafiz Gul Bahadar group has not reacted to the operation so far.
Taliban commander said there will be no resistance from them till Shawal 10, but our future strategy will depend on the behavior of the government, he said the operation should be limited to targets to avoid unnecessary harm to ordinary people. He said that with the efforts of peace jirga in North Waziristan, peace will be restored soon. In response to a question, he said the peace jirga is in constant contact with political and military officials.
