Pakistan Army killed 25 militants during operation in North Waziristan

Pakistan army has said in a statement by ISPR that 25 terrorists were killed during the operation while two soldiers were also martyred. 

According to ISPR, the military jets this morning bombed hideouts of militants in Mir Ali, which resulted in 15 terrorists killed while 8 hideouts of terrorists were also destroyed. Spokesman further added that Pakistan Armed forces foiled an attempt to escape from the area resulting in killing of 10 terrorists. However, two Pakistani soldiers also lost their lives in the live of duty.

Pakistani army spokesman said that during the operation, while the terrorists escape attempts were foiled underground tunnels were also destroyed. According to ISPR, 4 lakh 14 thousand 429 IDPs have registered themselves at the check post.  The Pakistan Army has set up four camp in Bannu for distribution of relief goods.  Army Medical Corps has set up a field medical hospital.

Pakistan Army has also set up relief goods collection camps where people can donate for the persons affected by the army operation against terrorists in North Waziristan.

A number of camps in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been set up to facilitate the IDPs.

In the mean time, Taliban group of Hafiz Gul Bahadar has decided not to resist the army operation in North Waziristan till the 10th of Shawal.
