Rana Sanaullah refused to appear before judicial commission

The former Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, and Punjab’s former principal secretary to the Chief Minister, Dr Tauqeer Shah refused to appear before the commission which was formed on the request of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.
In a letter to the Judicial Commission, Rana Sanaullah has taken the stance that he could not appear in front of the Commission on security grounds. However, Dr. Tauqeer Shah has assured the Commission to be present on Thursday.
Judicial Commission has directed chief secretary Punjab to submit report about the transfers of IG Punjab police, DCO and other officials. The commission also asked to submit report on the missing son of a citizen Iqbal who was killed in the Lahore incident. The proceedings of the commission were adjourned till Tuesday.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had removed former Law Minister Rana Sanaullah from the office as a reaction to the Lahore incident that killed 12 people on June 17.
