Quentin Tarantino and Uma Thurman seal their relationship

A kiss can be a big difference. Until this week, Uma Thurman was  Quentin Tarantino’s muse. The actress he had in all his projects, either to revive the heart with a hypodermic needle directly into one of the most memorable scenes in Pulp Fiction or tray to serve his revenge on any of the moments of Kill Bill 1 to 2m a muse to whom he “has worshiped for years,” as the U.S. Magazine publishes the snapshot of the kiss that shows the change in the relationship between the two stars. It could be a goodbye kiss between friends after a dinner last Tuesday at Mr. Chow in Los Angeles. A dinner where, judging from the folder that the director was holding, could be mixing friendship with his next shoot. But the image suggests something else, Thurman’s arm around the neck of Tarantino as the director grabs her by the waist together in a kiss. That has sealed what had been rumored for months: that the couple has taken their collaboration further, at least personally.

The time seems to be suitable for both. Thurman, 44, just end her relationship with Arpad “Arki ” Busson, with whom she maintained an intermittent relationship since 2007 and with whom she had a daughter, Rosalind, almost two years ago. Thurman also has two other children, Maya, 15, and Levon, 12, from her marriage to actor Ethan Hawke. Conversely Tarantino, 51, is a proud single with his past relationships with director Sofia Coppola and Oscar -winning actress Mira Sorvino, and so far without a stable partner.

They met on the set of Pulp Fiction in 1994. The movie changed the life of the two. Thurman’s beauty had already made his mark in previous papers, as a sort of Venus de Milo who embodied Baron Monchausen lovers or those who gave the body in Dangerous Liaisons and Henry & June.  For Tarantino, Pulp Fiction was an admired author responsible for this cinematic aspirations with a video and a prodigious memory. The collaboration was expanded with similar success in Kill Bill.

A close working relationship in its path last May for the Cannes Film Festival sparked rumors that the relationship could have gone further after two decades. Both posed together on the red carpet of the Croisette during the closing ceremony or when they arrived, along with John Travolta, the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Pulp Fiction. There the director entertained his muse making her laugh. By then rumors the gossip spoke of actress and filmmaker were staying together at a villa in the south of France. Although there is still no official confirmation from either party, the kiss of Quentin and Uma appears to have settled any questions about this relationship.
