Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman, Imran Khan, has threatened government with a tsunami march in Islamabad on August 14, 2014 if his demands are not met while addressing a large protest rally in Bahawalpur on Friday June 27, 2014.  Khan strongly criticized former chief justice of Pakistan and made four demands regarding the irregularities in the 2013 elections.

Imran Khan asked the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who told him to make the victory speech before all the election results were declared? Khan also demanded Nawaz Sharif to explain the role of Iftikhar Chaudhary in the election 2013?

Imran Khan said that government should explain the reasoning behind a massive number of rejected votes during the last general elections. He also demanded to reveal the personalities who were behind the change in the electoral roll.

Imran Khan claimed that results were changed in at least 90 constituencies during the May 11, 2013 elections.

Imran Khan gave the government a deadline of one month to respond to all those four demands. He threatened the government to bring one million people to Islamabad on Pakistan’s independence day.

Mr. Khan warned Punjab police not to try to stop his workers during the tsunami march. He said that if any policeman fire gunshot on the workers, he will hang that policeman with his own hands.

Imran Khan said governments of Punjab and Sindh to lift the ban on entry of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan. He said that it will become a huge issue for the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa without the support from everyone.

Javed Hashmi and Shah Mehmood Qureshi also addressed the protest rally and demanded the formation of new provinces in the country.
