Iran Hands over 15 Deportees to Pakistan
Monday, June 30th, 2014 3:03:53 by Ahmad MehdiPakistan and Iran have been trying to improve their ties. This can be explained through the visit which the Prime Minister, Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif, took to Iran. While sitting in Tehran, the Pakistani Prime Minister fully discussed how the neighbouring countries can benefit each other.
Pakistan is in dire need of energy sources and Iran is full of them. However, the sanctions levied by America are working as a hurdle between the two countries.
Most recently, Iran extended a hand of friendship towards Pakistan through a friendly gesture. There are several incidents where Pakistani people accidentally cross the border towards Iran and vice versa and these people are caught by the security forces in that area.
15 Pakistani deportees were living in Iran for quite a lot of time and the security forces had caught them right at the Taftan border. Rather than putting them into jail and keeping them in Iran, they were handed back to Pakistan.
All the fifteen people were handed over to the Pakistani security forces and now it is being reported that they will all be handed over to Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) so that they can look into the matter and see what they can do with them.
