Prime Minister Appreciates Najam Sethi’s Efforts

Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif, came out in the open to laud the efforts made by the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Najam Sethi.

Even in these trying times, where the country is in a state of war against the militants in North Waziristan, Najam Sethi has given the Pakistani nation something to cheer about. Pakistan recently managed to get its name in the Big Four of the cricketing world, all thanks to Najam Sethi and his efforts.

While talking about what has happened recently, Prime Minister spoke about Najam Sethi and the Pakistan Cricket board.

He said, “The prime minister was apprised of the outcome of the ICC meeting and efforts put by the PCB to get the best deal for the country out of nowhere. I briefed the prime minister, who is also the patron of the Board, as to how we manoeuvred from the scratch to get the best deal. After the Big Three, now Pakistan will benefit the most when it comes to distribution of finance. Now the ICC cannot take any major decision without consulting Pakistan. In a year, when Pakistan will assume the charge of the ICC presidency, it would have more say than any other country in deciding the ICC matters.”
