Petra Kvitova has defeated Eugenie Bouchard in straight sets 6-3, 6-0 in the Wimbledon ladies singles final to win her second Wimbledon title.  Czech star Kvitova was flawless on the court and had no trouble in securing her grand slam title in under one hour.

Eugenie Bourchard was unable to respond to the powerful shots played by her opponent on the Central court.

Kvitova took charge of the game from the beginning and was able to control almost every point in the second set. She hit 28 winners compared to Bouchard who could only manage eight.

Bouchard though made the history as being the first Canadian tennis player to reach the ladies single final of Wimbledon.
