Bangladesh Cricket Board bans Shakib Al Hasan for 6 months

Bangladesh Cricket Board chief Ashfaq Hasan, speaking to reporters, said that it is not the first time that this kind of behavior from Shakib Al Hasan has been adopted. Shakib Al Hasan has history of inappropriate behavior which directly affects the whole cricket team. He said that Shakib Al Hasan has been banned for 6 months for violating the rules during which he is not allowed to participate in any form of cricket.
Shakib Al Hasan travelled to West Indies to participate in the Caribbean Cricket Premier League games without the permission of Bangladesh Cricket Board.
When cricket coach asked him to take part in the training sessions in August, Shakib threatened to announce his retirement from the one day international and test cricket. The coach informed the Board about the inappropriate behavior which decided to impose ban of 6 months keeping in view the player’s past history.
Shakib Al Hasan had previously faced a 3 match ban by Bangladesh cricket Board for Code of Conduct violation during Asia Cup.
