Pakistan to Host a Shorter Home Series against India

Recently the two neighbouring countries decided that they are going to play six series in cricket. Pakistani people were delighted as the country has not seen any international cricket being played at home for quite some time. However, different countries now want to travel to Pakistan in order to play cricket and one of them is India.

Pakistan recently approved six series against their neighbouring giants, India, who are currently the Champions of the World. The two countries will play these series over a period of eight years.

However, recent news revealed that even though Pakistan will be hosting games against India, the series will feature fewer games.

Pakistan will be playing 6 test matches at home. This is the first time that the Pakistani team is going to face India in a test game while at home. Moreover, these home series will also feature 20 One Day fixtures and 6 T20 games. These series are going to take place between the time frame of January 2015 and January 2023.

While going out to India, Pakistan will be playing 6 test games, 5 one day fixtures and 3 T20’s. This means that even though Pakistan will be playing more games at home, their stay in India will be longer as compared to India’s stay in Pakistan.
