Pakistan Urges the World to Stop Israeli Attacks

Gaza is currently under attack and the world is sleeping over the matter. There are several lives being lost daily. At an average, at least one Palestinian kid dies every three days; and the ratio is increasing by the day.

The Pakistani government has asked the international community to take action on the matter. Israel has been attacking Gaza for quite some time now and more than a thousand homes have been destroyed in the process. The death toll that is being told by the media is only a portion of the actual amount of lives that have been lost in this war which Israel has claimed over Palestine.

Pakistani Ambassador, Masood Khan, who is a representative of the UN, said, “We call on the international community to intercede to end this cycle of violence and bring about a cessation of unilateral Israeli strikes that indiscriminately kill Palestinians — men, women and children.”

Masood Khan voiced his concert regarding the precarious situation in the Gaza region. He presented a two-state solution in the region, where he believes that Palestinians should be given a free state where they must be allowed to lead their own lives.

In this context, a Pakistani convoy called for the resumption of peace negotiations, which they believe should be pursued as early as possible.
