Air Strikes in Pakistan Kill 50

Thursday, July 17th, 2014 10:30:36 by

It was recently reported from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that there have been air strikes in the region and they have killed approximately 50 people. Even though it was being said that US has stopped its drones from entering the region of Pakistan, security officials stated that at least 50 people were killed due to these drone strikes which have taken place quite recently.

However, there are several senior army officers who claim that these air strikes are not being conducted by the US and in fact they are being controlled by the Pakistani Armed Forces. A former President of Pakistan also revealed that the rulers have secretly agreed to these air strikes and they are being controlled by US altogether.

Pakistan has condemned drone strikes from the US not only as a nation, but also on international ground. The UN has asked America to stop these drone attacks as they leave several people dead.

Pakistani government was to get involved in peace talks, but there were yet again drone strikes which angered the militants. The eventual result saw Pakistan’s armed forced getting into a state of war.

They are not fighting a war against terrorism, something that the US has been doing for quite some time and this war has caused a lot of problems for the country.

If US is killing militants, without “disrupting” the normal lives of innocent women and children, their education, agriculture, domestic animals, infrastructure, hundreds of thousands of people homeless, and their lively hoods, why can’t Pakistan accept it? The so called “strategic depth” never worked. A snake bites the nearest victim, regardless of friend or foe.
