20 militants killed in Shawal valley during operation Zarb-e-Azb
Wednesday, July 23rd, 2014 11:41:22 by Nadeem BajwaPakistan army jets have destroyed four different militants hideouts early morning on Wednesday July 23, 2014 in Shawal Valley of North Waziristan killing 20 terrorists including some foreigners during the ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release.
ISPR has said in a statement that clearance of Mirali, North Waziristan is progressing smoothly. Army recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition, scores of Improvised Explosive Devices (EDs) and foreign currency were also recovered from Mir Ali Bazar.
A local ammunition manufacturing factory has been discovered during the clearance of Mirali. Meanwhile technical disposal and clearance of recovered IEDs and explosive in Miranshah is in progress. Army Engineers have cleared six IED factories in Miranshah.
Pakistan Army is also distributing Eid gift packages to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). According to ISPR, 142866 ration packs and 20000 special Eid gift packages including clothes for ladies, toys and sports items for children have been distributed among IDPs. Pakistan Army is in the process of distributing more Eid gift packages.
