Israeli attack on UN Shelter in Gaza killed 16 Palestinians

UNRWA spokesman Chris Gunness has confirmed that the school, which served as a shelter for displaced Palestinians, has received Israel ” direct fire” and there are ” multiple deaths and injuries.”
Gunness has said in Twitter account that the Israeli army knew the exact place of refuge, and had formally received the coordinates of the building in Beit Hanoun.
Hospital director of Beit Hanun, Ayman Hamdan, told Reuters that several medical centers around are receiving the injured . “Over a hospital treating such slaughter is required “, said Hamdan.
Over 140,000 Palestinians fled their homes in the 17 days of hostilities between Israel and Gaza, most seeking refuge in UNRWA administered by the centers.
