UN condemns Israel attack on school in Gaza that killed 16 civilians

The bombing killed at least 16 people, including six children and two employees of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees , UNRWA. The center hosted over 3,200 Palestinians in a school that maintains UN refugee camp of Jabalia, north of Gaza. The spokesman for the Israeli military, Lt. Col. Peter Lerner has reported that they are ” investigating” the massacre at the school in Jabalia. Hours after the massacre, Israel announced a ” humanitarian ” cease fire four hours from three pm. This cessation of hostilities does not apply in areas where Israeli soldiers are ” operating”.
Over 500 families believed that the flag of the UN would protect them from the guns and the Israeli aviation. Before dawn Wednesday, at least three missiles hit the area.
