Another Israeli attack kills 10 people in a school in Gaza
Wednesday, August 6th, 2014 6:50:25 by Shakira SubhaniAt least ten Palestinians have been killed today and 30 others injured in Rafah, in southern Gaza, in a bombing of a school for the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA), medical sources in the Gaza that blamed to attack Israel.
Ashraf Al Qidra, Health Ministry spokesman in Gaza, said Israeli warplanes attacked the shelter and dozens of people who were in the house have been also injured.
The Israeli army claimed to have no information yet of the attack, the second falling on a school this week and the third offense so far, and it is being investigated while UNRWA has not yet been delivered.
The missile fired from an aircraft impacted the school entrance of Rafah, as declared by doctors and eyewitnesses. The place had become in recent weeks refuge for thousands of Palestinians.
UNRWA spokesman Chris Gunness said in his Twitter account that the explosion occurred in the vicinity of the school in Rafah that provides refuge for 3,000 Palestinians who have left their fleeing violence in Gaza homes.
On July 30, 15 Palestinians were killed and fifty injured in another bombing in a UNRWA school in Jabalia, in northern Gaza, sparking a wave of international condemnation against Israel.
