Pakistani Kick Boxer Knocks out British Boxer in 2nd Round
Wednesday, August 6th, 2014 1:25:35 by Ahmad MehdiThailand: Pakistani kick boxer, Uloomi Karim Shaheen, is currently representing Pakistan in the Thai Kickboxing Championship 2014. In his very first match, the Pakistani star had to face the experienced British kick boxer in Bangala Stadium Phuket. It was Uloomi’s first ever international match against any opponent and he was able to win it as early as the second round, through technical knockout (referee stoppage).
Uloomi is currently in Thailand and is included in the top teams that are training for Mixed Martial Arts. Uloomi’s team is sponsored by the Canadian Muslim lady, Beverley Aisha. The fight Uloomi won was arranged by Mr. Sarfaraz Ahmed, owner of Lion Muay Thai a Pakistani gym in Thailand, and Hassan Khokhar. Reports claim that Uloomi was allowed to train in this gym free of cost since he is representing the Pakistani nation.
The Pakistani prodigy will be a part of this training program until the second week of September. During this time Uloomi will also take part in the Mixed Martial Arts League, Full Metal Dojo, from 23rd August onwards.
So far Uloomi has taken part in 10 tournaments and has managed to win 8 of them. With this extraordinary streak, Uloomi is already being hailed as the rising Mixed Martial Arts star of Pakistan.
