COAS General Raheel once again advise for political dialogue

Pakistan Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif, has once again asked the politicians to engage in a meaningful dialogue to diffuse the political turmoil during his meeting with Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday August 20, 2014.

Shahbaz Sharif and Chaudhry Nisar Khan visited COAS General Raheel Sharif to discuss the security situation after tens of thousands of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek activists are staging sit-in in the red zone areas in front of the Parliament House.

Political turmoil was also part of the discussions during the meeting. However, COAS told Punjab Chief Minister to engage the protesting politicians in negotiation to diffuse the political tension.
