32 dead, 9 missing in landslides in Hiroshima

In response to the tragedy, the Ministry of Defence has already risen to 500 members of the Ground Self-Defense Force in the area to assist in the rescue.
Japanese television showed collapsed homes by landslides and mud buried in rubble dumps or flood, flooded streets and cars razed agricultural land.
The high level of casualties and property damage due to the intensity of rainfall combined with the terrain and the type of soft ground in this region, as well as the location of many homes in the foothills of the mountains, the Japanese media reported information.
