PTI Parliamentarians from KP not happy with decision to resign
Sunday, August 24th, 2014 7:22:02 by Jamshed SindhuIt has been reported from Peshawar that many members of National Assembly belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are not happy with the decision of Imran Khan to tender resignations.
According to reports in the media, a he group of 13 MNAs has been formed within the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter. The group have made their resignations conditional with the resignation of PTI members of Provincial Assembly.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Vice President PTI, submitted resignations of 34 members of National Assembly to the Speaker’s office.
Some sources have claimed that not only PTI submitted 17 resignations but also some are not even addressed to the Speaker National Assembly and will not be valid.
PTI MNAs from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are claiming that PTI leadership took the decision of tendering resignations without consultation with the elected members of the House.
None of the PTI leaders or member of core committee has confirmed the reports of formation of group against the resignation decision.
