Imran says no talks without PM resignation
Wednesday, August 27th, 2014 6:46:30 by Khalil KhanImran Khan, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has announced on Wednesday August 27, 2014 that there will be no more talks with government without resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s resignation while addressing his supporters outside Parliament House.
Imran Khan said that justice is not possible while Nawaz Sharif remains in power so he must resign.
PTI chairman also claimed that government has tried to bribe him with the position of Deputy Prime Minister.
There has been five rounds of talks between government and PTI representatives on the six demands put forward by PTI leadership. Government has accepted five out of six demands and has refused to accept the demand of resignation of Nawaz Sharif.
Imran Khan has been staging sit-in outside the Parliament House after arriving from Lahore on August 15, 2014 demanding PM resignation and formation of caretaker government to conduct new elections.
