PM Nawaz Sharif cancels visit to Turkey

Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who was scheduled to leave for Turkey on Thursday August 28, 2014 on a two-day official visit to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Recep Tayyip Erdogan has reportedly cancelled his trip due to the political crisis in the country.

Erdogan will take oath as the 12th President of the Republic of Turkey in the oath-taking ceremony in Turkish Grand National Assembly on August 28.

Pakistan president Mamoon Hussain will now attend the oath taking ceremony instead of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
