IB Chief denies allegations of distributing funds to journalists

Intelligence Bureau Director General Aftab Sultan had reportedly denied allegations of Imran Khan for distribution of funds among journalists and television anchors to distort image of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Friday August 29, 2014.

Aftab Sultan said in a statement, “The allegations are baseless and there is no truth in it.”

Imran Khan had alleged in his speech to his supporters in front of Parliament House that Intelligence Bureau had distributed money on the directive of Prime Minister Nawaz Sahrif to defame Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
