Will Imran Khan step down as chairman after Hashmi’s allegations?
Monday, September 1st, 2014 9:50:46 by Jamshed SindhuWill Imran Khan step down as the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) after his party president has leveled serious allegations regarding the current political turmoil and protest in Islamabad? The chances have that happening in Pakistan are none.
Imran Khan is demanding Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to step down to face the rigging allegations in the 2013. He suggests that if the allegations of fraud in 2013 general elections are not proved then Nawaz Sharif once again take the charge as Prime Minister.
Now the elected president of Imran Khan’s party has alleged Imran Khan violated party discipline by going against the collective decision of core committee to move forward towards Prime Minister House.
Javed Hashmi has also claimed that protest is according to preplanned script and Imran gave the impression that new elections will be conducted in September this year. Imran Khan has been mentioning umpire/third umpire without dissolving who is that mysterious umpire that will raise finger and Nawaz Sharif will have to go.
Pakistan Tehereek-e-Insaf has denied the allegations by Javed Hashmi and decided to send Javed Hashmi show cause notice after Imran Khan has already announced removing him from party.
It will be interesting to see if Imran Khan, following his own logic, will resign as Chairman of PTI until it is proved that allegations against him were not true and baseless.

There is no cogent reason for his resignation. Hashmi is a crackpot . His allegations are baseless. There is no truth in them. He has been making such accusations for ages. his claims does not ring a bell.
