All Praise Goes To Pakistani National

Shaukat Amin, a Pakistani citizen was congratulated by Crown Prince Muhammad bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz for saving a Saudi national from drowning in a flood in Assir, Saudi Press Agency informed.

Amin was given a financial reward by the crown prince for saving Fahd Al Qahtani, who had been washed away by the floods in Tathleeth Valley in the Assir region.

Shaukat appreciated the prince for honoring him.

Due to the heavy rains and floods plaguing Saudi Arabia over the past week, at least 18 people died. The victims ranged from most part of the country, including Riyadh, Hail, Mecca, Medina, Al-Baha, Asir, Najran and Jazan.

915 people were saved according to the civil defence agency.
