Rawalpindi Witnesses Cross-Dresser’s Murder
Tuesday, May 10th, 2016 10:13:00 by modousarrMonday saw the death of a transvestite who was killed in the Banni police precincts. A resident of Faisalabad, the victim was discovered to be Saleem alias Dani.
Preliminary investigation showed that an armed man broke into the Saleem’s fat in the early hours of Monday while he was sleeping and shot at him.
Hitting Saleem’s head, the shot killed him instantly. The attacker fled the crime scene with his weapon.
The local police later arrived at the flat and relocated the body to the district headquarters hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The victim was living in the flat with a colleague. A case has been registered against the suspect and the investigation is on-going.
Consequently, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) apprehended a huge cache of drugs and weapons and arrested three suspected drug smugglers.
Relying on information given, ANF officials raided a house in the Akalgarh area of Rawalpindi and arrested a suspected drug peddler with 1.5kg of heroin in his possession.
With the information given by the drug peddler, the ANF team raided a house and arrested two more drug smugglers including 5.6kg of heroin, a submachine gun (SMG) and a pistol.
A separate incident involves the disappearance of a 43-year-old man, who went missing from his office in the Golra police jurisdiction.
Muhammad Saleem filed a complaint with the local police that his brother, Muhammad Faraz, had being to his office on Monday and had not returned. It is suspected that he may have been kidnapped.
