Child abuse scandal similar to Kasur scandal, emerges in Swat

Details of a horrific child abuse scandal have emerged in Swat, after a victim escaped from the clutches of the gang involved. The police have arrested a key member of the gang which is involved in child sex and pornography case.
According to the details provided, the gang allegedly used to kidnap young boys and force them into having sex while filming them. The emergence of the case evoked public outcry and now the locals and civil society groups are demanding for justice. The provincial government and police have been asked to take strict action against the alleged so that an example can be made out of them to discourage such indecent acts.
The arrest of the gang leader, identified as Aurangzeb, came a few days ago, after a 13-year-old victim tipped-off the police. The boy was kidnapped back in 2014 and was forced into having sex frequently with Aurangzeb. The victim was recently set free when the gang thought that the police are going to raid their vicinity.
Mingora City DSP, Sadiq Akbar told reporters that Aurangzeb was caught while having intercourse with a 14-year-old boy. Handcuffs and chains were also recovered from his residence.
The father of the 14-year-old boy, whose identity is being kept confidential, filed a missing report for his child back in September, 2014, but he was never found till this time.
Meanwhile a man identified as Sherin Zada provided the local journalists with hundreds of photos and videos allegedly filmed while Aurangzeb abused underage boys. Sherin Zada claims that he got his hands on the material through one of his informers, but surprisingly, even he has been arrested by the police.
Investigations into the case are on-going and till then, Aurangzeb will be kept in physical remand.
