NP Members Tackle Allegations Of Corruption
Monday, May 16th, 2016 8:56:25 by modousarrThe National Party recently publicised the development of a committee to investigate the wealth of the NP legislators in the Assembly of Balochistan as they present themselves for accountability.
At a press conference on Sunday evening, the President of the NP Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo said, “If any legislator is found guilty of corruption, he will no more be a member of the assembly.”
The NP President also asserted the party had never been accused of corruption and that led to them willingly presenting details of their assets to the media.
Senator Bizenjo reiterated that his party has always opposed corruption and would never compromise on it, backed by Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch and other party leaders.
Senator Bizenjo revealed that he has made a former adviser to the chief minister on finance, Mir Khalid Langov of NP quit when the National Accountability Bureau, Balochistan, retrieved stolen public money from the residence of suspended finance secretary Mushtaq Ahmed Raisani.
In his own words, “We have asked Mir Langov to present himself for accountability and he will appear before Balochistan NAB in a couple of days,”
The investigating committee involves Senator Mir Kabeer Mohammadshahi, Mir Jan Mohammad Buled, and is led by ex-senator Tahir Bizenjo.
The NP president declared that the NP would go up against any of its members if he was found guilty of misappropriation of Public finances.
