Pakistan Set To Oppose Indian Missile Test At International Level
Monday, May 16th, 2016 8:43:45 by modousarrIn a reaction to India’s supersonic interceptor missile test, adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, on Monday, said the development of the test “at an international level” would be dealt with.
According to reports on Radio Pakistan, Mr Aziz conveyed his unease about India’s missile test, stating that it would disrupt the balance of power in the region.
The Prime Minister’s Adviser went on to say that, Pakistan will persist in purchasing advanced technology in order to maintain that balance.
Mr Aziz’s assertion was made merely a day after a supersonic interceptor missile with the ability to wipe out any advancing ballistic missile was successfully test-fired by India from a test range off the Odisha coast.
The PM’s Adviser concluded his statement saying; the US believes its imperative that India strengthens to keep China in check and as a result, India enjoys a fruitful partnership with the United States. He added that Pakistan would strongly object to these developments at the International level.
