Monday, May 30th, 2016 3:49:01 by fatimaarshadActress Amber Heard recently filed for divorce from Johnny Depp and also accused him of beating her during their short marriage of 15 months. Heard also got a restraining order against her estranged husband and posted pictures of herself on social media, showing injury marks on her face.
All these allegations were denied by Depp’s camp and now even his ex-girlfriend and ex-wife have come out in his support, saying he is not capable of any such violence.
Vanessa Paradis, Depp’s ex-girlfriend who stayed with him for fourteen years and with whom he has two children, penned down a letter defending the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor.
The letter, was first published by Celebrity news website, TMZ on May 27, 2016. In the letter, Paradis describes Depp as a ‘sensitive, loving and loved person’, who is not capable of hitting anyone. She goes on to talk about the 14 ‘wonderful’ years she spent with Depp and calls Heard’s claims ‘outrageous’.
Lori Anne Allison, was married to Depp in the 80s and even she came out in defense of her ex-husband. She said that Depp is not capable of hitting a woman and in their two years of marriage together, he ‘never even shouted’ at her. Allison also backed Paradis’s claim of Depp being a gentle person.
Following Amber Heard’s claims Johnny’s representatives said in a statement, “Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life.”
“Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.” The statement added
