Well wishes pour in for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif from all around the world

Prominent leaders from all around the world have been sending their well wishes for the premier’s quick recovery.
According to an update provided by the Foreign Office, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent flowers and a note to PM Nawaz Sharif.
“PM Narendra Modi sent flowers to PM Nawaz Sharif along with message. ‘All good wishes to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for his speedy recovery’,” the spokesperson for Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Twitter.
When reports of Nawaz Sharif’s heart surgery hit the news channels last week, Modi took to Twitter to extend his good wishes to his counterpart.
“My best wishes to PM Nawaz Sharif Sahab for his open heart surgery on Tuesday. And for his speedy recovery & good health,” Modi wrote.
Even PM Nawaz Sharif called up Modi, right before going in for his heart surgery and the later wished him a speedy recovery.
In addition to the Indian Prime Minister, there were other world leaders who sent in their well-wishes too.
The Foreign Office said, “President Putin, joined by other leaders of Russian Federation, conveyed PM Nawaz Sharif wishes for successful surgery and speedy recovery.”
Earlier, Afghan president Ashraf Ghani also sent well wishes for PM Nawaz.
“I would like to send my best wishes to PM Nawaz Sharif and his family. Hope the surgery goes alright. We pray for his speedy recuperation,” Ghani tweeted.
