Waterfalls Help To Boost The Tourism Sector

Tourism is one sector that brings in a lot of income for the Pakistan government. Pakistan has a lot of tourist attractions but the northern parts are well known for their wonderful waterfalls that are most especially found in Kohistan and Shangla.
Vast stretches of waterfalls can be found in these parts of Pakistan which are very beautiful. This is a very attractive sight for tourists that visit the country.
A member of the tourism board commented that “the waterfall is really amazing to see besides cool winds and humming sounds.”
Most tourists only get to see such wonderful waterfalls in films or on social life but in Pakistan, you get to experience first-hand beauty. Along with the beauty of the waterfalls are the various animals that live near it. Rare birds that hum sweet melodies can be heard from a distance.
However, the tourist sector can make huge profits if they develop such areas to proper tourist spots. “The government can make big profits by developing these waterfalls into proper tourist areas. There are no such facilities like hotels here.” a tourist commented.
Other tourists also confessed to loving the view of the waterfalls they complained that the routes going to the falls are in no good condition and this prevents some tourists from going there.
“The government should take steps for providing facilities to tourists along the Karakoham highway and install signboards to help guide through different tourist spots in the area.”
However a member of the tourist board claimed that there are lots of waterfalls and other tourist attractions in the Kohistan area but the area is still known to few people therefore much development has not been done due to lack of funds.
He also appealed to other agencies to help develop these areas that will help in boosting the revenue of the country by bringing in more tourists every year.
