The killers did not fire at him even though he was sitting next to Sabri,” said SHO Mohsin Zaidi. “Chanda might help investigators.”
Since Sabri was killed, the police have been on the hunt for his killers and all efforts have been directed at finding them. More than 100 suspects have been rounded up by police and Rangers for questioning in a citywide sweep.
Amjab Sabri was shot dead by two gunmen who ambushed his car on a motorcycle. They shot at him from the window of his car and also killed his driver. Sabri was shot in the Liaquatabad neighborhood of Karachi on Wednesday, when he was just a kilometer away from his home.
