Qandeel Baloch Desires Protection
Tuesday, June 28th, 2016 4:01:18 by modousarrPolice officials on Monday revealed that Facebook celebrity, Qandeel Baloch had written to the interior minister, the director general of the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) and the senior superintendent of Islamabad, requesting that they grant protection to her and asked for action to be taken against those who publicized her identification documents on social media.
Signing the letter with her real name, Fauzia Azeem, she claimed that images of her passport and CNIC were uploaded on social media sites about four days ago, which according to her, made her “extremely tense and depressive”. She questioned how her documents were gathered from the National Database and Registration Authority and the Passports and Immigration Department. She also asked regarding the officials partaking in “destroying [her] image in show biz”.
She further claims that her life is in danger and that she has being receiving threats through calls on her phone and that she lacks any security in her home.
She wrote: “I need security from you”.
She has demanded that officials involve law enforcement departments “immediately” in implementing legal action by removing the documents from social media and hold to account those behind it.
She stated that her documents may be used for “negative” purposes which may end her in trouble.
Ms. Baloch was not available for any comments.
