Sami Cautions Zardari Against Using Inappropriate Language Concerning Madressah
Thursday, June 30th, 2016 9:38:35 by sallyMaulana Samiul Haq, Leader of his faction of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI), has cautioned PPP co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari to stop using inappropriate language about Darul Uloom Haqqania on Wednesday.
Speaking to several groups of representatives at his home in Akora Khattak, Maulana Haq said, “I will disclose some secrets about him if he issued any statement against Haqqania in future and his party will lose the support of European heads of state or government”.
The JUI leader also criticized federal Information Minister Pervez Rasheed for calling religious seminaries factories of illiteracy as well as threatened to reveal actualities about the PML’s part during the 1977 election against his late father Maulana Abdul Haq.
The Maulana, who was also assigned as the manager of Darul Uloom Haqqani, expressed his disapproval about the apportionment of Rs300 million for his seminary by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
“My father had won the National Assembly seat thrice from 1970 to 1988 by defeating the influential people of the area. I also remained a member of the Senate from 1985 to 2008 and did different developmental works in the area”. He said.
He went on to add, “My son Maulana Hamidul Haq defeated influential PPP leader retired Gen Naseerullah Babar in the general election for the National Assembly in 2003,”
The JUI faction leader said his seminary’s developmental funds were worth millions of rupees and that the Darul Uloom Haqqania had successfully constructed more than a few roads as well as provided transformers in Nezampur, Akbarpura, Amangarh, Chirat and other areas.
