Samia Shahid murder case: Father, ex-husband found guilty

According to the latest reports, Samia was killed by her father and former husband for marrying of her own choice. Initially it was reported by the family that Samia had died due to cardiac arrest but later reports showed that she had been killed and after long investigations, her murderers have also been found.
This latest discovery was made on the basis of the reports of the father, Muhammad Shahid and her ex-husband, Muhammad Shakil’s polygraph tests. The duo was made to take a lie-detection test after it was apparent that they had to do something with her murder.
The polygraph or lie-detection test was also administered to one of her cousins, Chaudhry Mobin, however, he was found to be innocent. After the latest revelation, Chaudhry Shahid and Muhammad Shakil were presented before a civil judge. The judge in the case, Malik Abdul Sattar, handed them into police custody on a five-day physical remand, where the suspects will be interrogated further.
Even though the father and ex-husband of the slain British national have been arrested police suspect that there might be others involved in the murder as well hence investigations into the case will continue.
Samia’s murder was reported by her current husband, Syed Mukhtar Kazam, after he suspected that her own family killed her for ‘honor’s sake’ as she had married of her own choice.
