Brad Pitt under investigation for physical, verbal abuse of his children

The dust around Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce hadn’t settled yet when another scandal surrounding the 52-year-old actor has emerged. According to the latest details, Pitt has been accused of physically and verbally abusing his children and now he is under investigation.

According to a news site, Pitt is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department after the LA County Department of Children and Family Services received an anonymous tip of child abuse by the famed actor.

The anonymous source reportedly told authorities that Pitt began screaming and ‘getting physical’ with his children during a private jet plane trip with his family. The source said that Pitt was possibly intoxicated and under the influence when the incident took place. Pitt continued scolding his children even after the plane landed, according to the source.

This new development comes just days after 41-year-old actress Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from her husband of two years. So far the details of the divorce are still not clear, leaving people to speculating but Jolie cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ in the documents as the reason for the split. She has even filed for the custody of her six children and hopes to raise them single handedly.

The couple tied the knot in 2014 in France after being together for more than 10 years. They have six children, out of which three are their biological children while the other three are adopted.
