Indian Nationalist Party gives 2-days ultimatum to Pakistani actors to leave their country
Friday, September 23rd, 2016 5:25:36 by fatimaarshadAfter the recent Uri attacks in Indian occupied Kashmir, India is on a war high and is trying to show its aggression in every way possible. In a recent spate of words, the film workers’ association of Indian nationalist party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) ‘ordered all Pakistani actors working in India to leave the country in 2 days’ time.
“We gave a 48-hour deadline to Pakistani actors and artists to leave India or the MNS will push them out,” The Indian Express quoted Amey Khopkar of the MNS Chitrapat Sena as having remarked.
Khopkar also threatened to assault Pakistani artists and those who cast them. “Pakistani artists will be beaten up and so will the producers and directors,”
Karan Johar and Mahesh Bhatt are two famous names in the Bollywood industry who usually cast Pakistani actors in their movies.
This is not the first time that someone has targeted Pakistani actors after the Uri attacks. Famed actor Abhijeet, Salman Khan’s father Saleem Khan and others have pointer their guns at them.
Two days ago, a Bollywood enthusiast wrote an open letter to Fawad Khan asking him to go back to Pakistan. In that letter, the writer, Banerjee said that Fawad and other Pakistani actors like him had milked enough money from Indian film industry and that now it was time for them to leave.
So far multiple people from India have asked for the boycott of Pakistani actors in India, but it is not clear whether these threats will actually be carried out.
