Four students shot outside San Francisco School

A targeted shooting incident outside two San Francisco schools left one victims critically injured and three others suffering from minor injuries on Tuesday afternoon. According to the details provided of the incident, the shooting took place in the shared parking lot of two San Francisco schools after students were let out for the day.

“The shooting occurred as students were being let out of school for the day from the June Jordan School for Equity and City Arts and Technology High School, which share a campus,” San Francisco Police Officer Carlos Manfredi said.

The victims include one girl and three boys, out of which the girl is in critical condition. According to the initial investigation report, the shooting seems to be targeted towards the girl while the three boys became victims because they were standing close to her.

Three of the victims ran inside the school after receiving minor injuries while the girl dropped on the spot. The police initially placed the school on lockdown and advised the students to remain inside till the time they searched each room. After it was ascertained that it was not an active shooter situation, the students were let out.

Four male suspects wearing dark hoodies and jeans were seen running away from the area. It is being speculated that the suspects had something against the female victim.

The school was initially placed on lockdown but it has since been lifted and regular classes are expected to resume today. The investigations into the case are still going on and a detailed report is expected to come out soon.
