Teenager boy found to be murderer of parents, siblings
Monday, November 7th, 2016 12:56:15 by fatimaarshadJealousy and feeling of dejection led a 16-year-old boy to kill his own parents and three siblings in Moinuddin Pur village. The murder of five family members had left the village people shocked and initially no one knew who could have committed the heinous crime. No one suspected the son to be the murderer, hence other suspects had been arrested by the police initially.
According to the details of the case provided, the police revealed on Sunday that they have found the real suspect behind the gruesome murders. They revealed that 16-year-old Mustajab Shah was the killer of his family including his father Syed Tasawar Shah, a bank manager, mother Samia Khawar, brothers Mursal Haider, Salman Haider and his sister.
District Police Officer Sohail Zafar Chatha told reporters at a news conference that initially the police had detained several suspects but the information was not adding up. He said that Mustajab was also questioned and during interrogation, he admitted killing his family members.
In a confessional statement, Mustajab said that he took such a drastic step because he was unloved by his parents and that his siblings were always given preferential treatment while he was ignored. He also claimed that he was treated very harshly by his parents.
Before Mustajab’s confession, a maternal uncle of the suspect had nominated the family’s rival Shahid Shah and others in the FIR lodged under sections 302, 109, 148, 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and 6/7 of the Anti Terrorism Act (ATA) on September 5.
Shahid Shah, a former nazim of Moinuddin Pur union council had already been nominated in a murder case of the suspect’s maternal grandfather, Syed Talib Hussain Shah. Following the confession, the other suspects were let go by the police.
