‘Trump is not my president’ chant thousands of protestors not in favor of the election results

Most of the demonstrations were peaceful with isolated incidents of violence reported in a few states.
Most of the demonstrations took place in Chicago, where the famous Trump Tower is located. Several thousand people marched through the Loop and gathered outside the Trump Tower chanting ‘Not my President!’
Anti-Trump protest in Manhattan drew around 1,000 people and they also chanted the same slogan. In Manhattan the police had to install barricades outside the Trump Tower so that the protestors don’t end up vandalizing the property.
Despite rainy and cold weather, thousands of protestors also gathered near Philadelphia’s City Hall to show their resentment over the election result.
In Boston, thousands of anti-Donald Trump protesters streamed through downtown, chanting “Trump’s a racist” and carrying signs that said “Impeach Trump” and “Abolish Electoral College.”
Even university students did not stay behind in order to register their protest over the election results. Hundreds of University of Texas students spilled out of classrooms to march through downtown Austin. These students were holding placards and posters with anti-Trump remarks written on them.
Most of these protests remained peaceful with brief skirmishes reported at a demonstration in Oakland, California, which started shortly before midnight and lasted till early Wednesday morning.
