Parts of the crashed Russian plane which went down into the Black Sea, have been found there as search operation continues to find the remaining bodies and black box of the doomed plane.

According to the latest details provided, Russian rescuers found the first parts of the plane on Monday and according to the initial assessment, all possibilities of it being a terrorist attack have been ruled out.

The Tu-154 jet, was on its way to Syria carrying 92 people on-board, when it crashed into the Black Sea, killing all passengers. The jet was also carrying more than 60 members of the internationally renowned Red Army Choir, which was heading to Russia’s military base in Syria, to celebrate Christmas with the troops stationed there.

Just two minutes after taking off at 5:25 am (GMT) on Sunday, the plane disappeared from the radar and was later found crashed off the coast of the resort city of Sochi.

So far an official cause of the crash is still not known but officials have said that out of all the explanations, an act of terror was not being considered as a possible one. According to sources, four plausible causes of the plane crash are being investigated. These include; a pilot error, a technical fault, bad fuel and a foreign object in the engine.

Russian military divers are still conducting the search and so far they have recovered “two elements of the plane’s control mechanism.”

Search of the black box is also underway, which will help in deciphering what really happened before the plane crashed. According to the officials, the search will continue for another day.
