The killing of this innocent woman has sparked an outcry among people who are demanding that the murderer should be brought to justice. People belonging from different classes of the society were seen holding placards and shouting slogans outside the Peshawar Press Club on Friday.
Hina began working in an NGO when her father died and her brother was murdered. She was the sole breadwinner of the family. Later, her brother-in-law also got killed and she took in her sister and her children. Many lives depended on Hina’s livelihood.
According to the details of the incident provided, Hina’s cousin Mahboob Alam, was annoyed by the fact that the deceased was working in an NGO and bringing shame to the family. On Feb 6, Mahboob came to Hina’s house and asked her to accompany him to the basement as he wanted to have a word with her. Over there, he asked her to quit her job but Hina refused, upon which he took out pistol and shot her dead on the spot.

We have been conducting raids to apprehend him at the earliest,” said an official at the police station concerned.
