Disheartened father seeks Army Chief’s help for son’s recovery
Friday, May 26th, 2017 3:34:56 by fatimaarshadA teacher whose son went missing in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) region, is asking for the help of the Army Chief, General Qamar Bajwa, to help in finding his son.
Raja Naseer Khan has made an appeal to the general to direct the intelligence agencies to help locate his teenage son who went missing six weeks ago. Khan sought the help of the Army Chief after all other options had been exhausted.
Khan, who serves as a teacher in the Government High School for Boys in Kumi Kot-a suburban village of Muzaffarabad-said that his 15-year-old son Hassan Naseer had never been in trouble before and neither did he have any enemies.
Khan said that Naseer was a student of 9th grade in Government Pilot High School Number 1 at Muzaffarabad, and the last time he was seen was on this day of his mathematics paper under the AJK Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, in his educational institution on April 10.
After giving his exam, Naseer did not return home from school and no one had any idea where he had gone. “He was the most brilliant student at the school, whose only priority was his studies. Unlike other children of his age, he would not go around with friends and that’s why we are completely in the dark about his mysterious disappearance,” said a visibly downhearted Mr Khan while talking to local media on Thursday.
In reply to a question, the father said he did not have enmity with anyone, “though some might be jealous of him or his son”. He speculated that the kidnappers might be from some banned outfits.
Mr Khan said the disappearance of his son had devastated the whole family “That’s why I call upon Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa to direct the agencies under his command to come to our rescue,” he said.
Meanwhile the police has also been looking for Naseer, but so far there has been no trace of him.
