Ali Haider bashes Waqar Zaka for cashing in on Aamir Zaki’s death

The untimely death of legendary singer and guitarist Aamir Zaki left the entire nation in a state of shock. For some reason, Zaki’s body had to be collected by Edhi foundation and it was kept at Edhi Morgue in Sohrab Goth.

On the same night of his death, TV show host Waqar Zaka went to Edhi morgue where the deceased singer’s body was kept. Once there, he made a Facebook live video, in which he criticized Zaki’s peers and fellow singers for neglecting the legendary singer in his death and in his time of need.

In the video, Zaka took names of Ali Haider, Hadiqa Kayani and Ahmed Jahanzeb for having worked with the music icon in the good old days and not helping him during his hard times at the end.

“Artists need to come and see how Aamir’s body in kept inside the Edhi morgue, the same can happen to any one of us,” he said.

The video made rounds on the internet and singer Ali Haider did not let the issue go-by as he responded to Zaka’s allegations by posting a video of his own. In that video, Haider harshly asked the reality show host not to cash in on Zaki’s death.

Haider said that he has been in the US due to some reasons since two years and Hadiqa is in Lahore. “But you were in Karachi, why did you not do anything for Aamir Zaki, knowing his condition?” said Haider to Waqar Zaka.

He said that Zaka being a social worker should have done something when the singer was alive.

Haider said that when someone else dies then Zaka will again be there to make another video.

The public lauded Haider’s retaliatory video and sided with him in this matter.
